Podcast Review: The Royal in You

This week I posted a reel about author Jordan Raynor's new book, "The Royal in You," but couldn't help but record a podcast episode on why it means so much to me.

Before reading the Letter to Parents at the back of this book, I had no idea that other people grew up being scared of heaven!

The idea of being stuck in one place (even if it was with God) forever and ever freaked me out something awful! What would we do? Sing? All day? Like a 24/7 choir forever?

Jordan wrote "The Royal in You" to give children a fun, beautiful, and most importantly, biblically accurate idea of heaven. No, we won't be playing harps and bored for eternity. We'll be building, full of happiness, and there is absolutely nothing to be worried about.

This book takes the theology of the New Heaven and New Earth, makes it kid-friendly, and pairs it with gorgeous images.

I love how it will fill so many children with excitement and hope!
